TSSD #08: Do these 3 Things to Lose Weight (for good)

There’s a lot of information out there about weight loss, but it can be overwhelming and difficult to know where to start. That’s why I’m here to give you an easy to remember weight loss formula!
 
If you do just these three things, you’ll be well on your way to a healthier, happier version of yourself.
 

#1 Approach weight loss with the right mindset.

Reject thoughts of diet restriction and burn out and embrace a positive outlook. Remember that healthy habits create lasting change and it’s important to be kind to yourself as you embark on your weight loss journey. It is a journey after all, not a quick fix.
 

#2 Focus on making smart food choices.

This doesn’t mean you have to give up all your favorite foods, but take the time to understand the nutrition values of what you are eating and why.Speak with a nutritionist to get advice tailored to what you specifically need.
 

#3 Incorporate intentional movement into your lifestyle (major key).

Many of us spend our work days in a chair or at a desk and don’t get enough physical activity throughout the day. Find ways to add more movement in your life, whether it’s taking regular walks or getting an exercise program. It doesn’t have to be an intense workout, but it should be something that you enjoy and makes you feel good and energized.
 
Weight loss can be difficult and overwhelming. But if you apply this simple formula of having the right mindset, making smart food choices, and adding movement into your lifestyle, you’ll be sure to see results that last.
