Jan 14, 2023
Read time: 2 minutes

Women have a lot on their plate.

Many of us have been focusing on our families and careers for years, and when it comes to New Year's resolutions, weight loss often takes center stage.

Every year, countless women of all ages set goals to lose weight, but unfortunately, most resolutions don’t follow through.

A recent study found that only 8% of people who set weight loss resolutions actually achieve their goals. This means that 92% of people are either struggling to stay on track or have given up altogether.

This isn’t because people lack motivation or willpower, but because many weight loss methods are unsustainable and often cause more harm than good.

Instead of turning to restrictive diets or quick-fix methods, women should focus on establishing a healthy lifestyle.

This could mean getting outside each day for a walk and taking the chance to enjoy some fresh air, or making sure to get enough sleep each night to ensure your body has the proper time it needs to rest and recover.

It’s also important to remember that food can be nourishing, enjoyable, and still promote weight loss.

Working with a nutritionist who understands your lifestyle and goals can help you learn the basics of mindful and intuitive eating, which can be an excellent way to nourish your body while allowing you to enjoy your favorite meals.

Making sustainable lifestyle changes is the key to successful weight loss resolutions.

Instead of trying to stick to a restrictive diet, focus on creating healthy habits that you can stick to over time.

Small changes can make a big difference in your overall health, and eventually, you’ll be able to see the results you’re looking for.

The first step in achieving weight loss resolutions is to assess your current habits and identify areas for improvement.

Take an honest look at what you’re eating, how active you are, and how you’re taking care of yourself overall.

Once you have an understanding of your starting point, it will be easier to set realistic goals that can fit into your current lifestyle.

With the right approach, anyone can make lifestyle changes that will help them achieve lasting health and fitness.

Weight loss resolutions don’t have to be complicated or time consuming; by focusing on one small step at a time, you can take control of your health and start seeing results.
